The Committee have given repeated notice to Martha Share to quit the possession of the house at Dudbridge but she still retains possession in defiance. The committee is to take such further steps as may be necessary to obtain possession of the house.

At a General Half Yearly Meeting of the Proprietors of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the George Inn in Stroud on Tuesday the 10^th of October 1809
Jos^h Grazebrook Esq^r in the Chair.
The Minutes of the last General Meeting were Read and Confirmed.
The several Books and Accounts were produced respecting the Affairs of the Company as directed by the Act of Parliament examined and Confirmed.
It appears by the Accounts that the Sum of £1930..17..6½ has been received for Tonnage from the 11^th of April last to this day, a part of which has been applied towards the payment of Wages, Disburstments, etc, there remains in the Treasurers Hands after paying the last Dividend, and the Sum of £202..16 for Property Tax, the Sum of £1589..15..6½. Ordered that a Dividend of £7..10 on each Share be paid by the Treasurer on the first day of November next, and that our Clerk do transmit Circular Letters to tell all the Proprietors that they may draw upon the Treasurer or apply to him for payment of the same.
It having been reported that the Committee have given repeated notices to Martha Share to quit the possession of the House at Dudbridge but that she still retains possession in defiance, Ordered that the Committee do take such further steps as may be necessary to obtain possession of the said House.
