Summary

Culverts at Lockham Bridge and Walk Bridge are repaired.
In consequence of the death of John Sutton, the superintendent of the coal wharf at Wallbridge, application has been made by John Sims requesting that the widow of the late John Sutton may be continued in the situation and that he will be a security for her. She will be continued for a few months by way of trial, Mr Sims having engaged to find a proper man to attend to the coal department and to be responsible for him.
Our clerk reported that he had informed Martha Share of the resolution of the general meeting respecting her quitting the house, but she has taken no notice of it. The windows and doors of the house are to be taken away in order to make her give up the possession.

At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Walbridge on Monday the 20^th November 1809
Present: Henry Burgh, Will^m Stanton, Jos^h Grazebrook, Tho^s Holbrow, Rowles Scudamore, Nath^l Jones.
Read the Minutes of the last Meeting.
Our Clerk Reported that the Culverts at Lockham Bridge and the Walk Bridge were repaired.
In consequence of the Death of Jn^o Sutton the superintendent of the Coal Wharf at Walbridge, Application has been made by M^r Jn^o Sims requesting that the Widow of the late Jn^o Sutton may be continued in her situation and that he will be a Security for her. Ordered that she be continued for a few months by way of tryall M^r Sims having engaged to find a proper man to attend to the Coal department and to be responsible for him.
Our Clerk reported that he had informed Martha Share of the Resolution of the General Meeting respecting her quiting the House which she occupies, but she has taken no Notice of it. Ordered that our Clerk do have the Windows & Door taken away in order to make her give up the possession.
Adjourned this Meeting to Wednesday the 10^th of January next at two o'Clock in the Afternoon at the Committee room at Walbridge.
