William Blackwell to inspect the building of the lock immediately below the G&B Canal and report if it is being done in a proper manner with particular reference to the mortar.
Susan Harvey and Mary Nourse claimed share no.155, will of Thomas Harvey.
At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Walbridge on Wednesday teh 21^st October 1818
Present: John Holbrow, W^m Stanton, Rev J Jones, H Eycott, N Jones.
Ordered that W^m Blackwell be desired to inspect the building to the Lock immediately below the Gloster & Berkely Canal and report if it be done in a proper manner, and his attention is particularly directed to the Mortar.
George Hawker attended on behalf of Susan Harvey widow & Mary Nourse Spinster, both of Ross in the County of Hereford, Executrixes in trust of the late Thomas Harvey,, of Ross in the County of Hereford deceased, & made their Claim to one Share N^o 155 in the Stroudwater Navigation late the Property of the said Thomas Harvey deceased by producing the probate of the Will of the said Thomas Harvey deceased bearing date the 7^th day of December 1809 & duly proved in the prerogative Court of the Archbishop of Canterbury the 29^th day of Feb^y 1816 by which it appears that the said Susan Harvey (widow of the said Thomas Harvey deceased) & also the said Mary Nourse Spinster, are joint Executrixes in trust of the said will & that the said probate thereof was granted to them the said Susan Harvey & the said Mary Nourse & their Claim is hereby admitted.
