Messrs Fisher produced the case and opinion directed to be made on 13th July. Ordered that cases and opinions be collected and transcribed into a book.
At a Special Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Walbridge on Wednesday the 16^th of Sep^t 1840
Present: M^r Beard, M^r Croome in the Chair, _ Cosham, P H Fisher, S Fisher, Wyatt.
Mess^rs Fisher produced their Case and Opinion directed to be laid before Counsel by the Committee 13^th July 1840. And it being deemed desirable that easy reference be had to the several Cases and opinions which have been stated and taken on the various points of difficulty which have occurred in relation to this Navigation, and to the several subjects thereor, and the Localities to which they refer,
And that an Index be made of these several Subjects in order to facilitate the reference thereto, and in order to inform the Committee of all such matters, and in explanation of the proceedings of the Committee under the advices of Counsel given in reply to the Cases stated;
Ordered that the Cases and Opinions be collected and transcribed into a Book to be procured for that purpose; and an Index of the various matters contained therein be made - by the Solicitors of the Company,
