A Meeting of the Sub Committee held at Wallbridge on Monday the 9th day June 1845
Present: M^r Geo Wathen, W^m J Wood, Will^m Fryer, Jn^o Stanton.
Proposed by M^r Wood and seconded by M^r Stanton and Resolved That in consequence of the Board of Admiralty having refused their consent to any Bridge being erected across the Severn as contemplate by the South Wales and Hereford and Monmouth Railway Companies, it is wholly unnecessary to proceed further in watching these Bills in Parliament and M^r Wathn, our Solicitor, is hereby directed not to incur any more expense or take any further steps in the matter at present.
