Mr T Marling applied for permission to put a 2 inch pipe into the long level at Eastington to supply water to the house and premises at The Leaze, Eastington. This was granted at an annual fee of £2 p.a., subject to Mr Marling putting the pipe in to the satisfaction of the Surveyor and constructing his waterworks so as not to waste water. This tenancy to include a right to put a pipe into the canal to supply the entrance lodge.
Mr Croome to request the loan of the Mr Warman’s bill in respect of the Stonehouse & Nailsworth Railway Co in order to make a copy. If the surveyor then advises that the balance should be paid, Mr Croome to give a cheque for the amount due.

Present: M^r F S Thornton, M^r T Marling Chairman, S Phippls, T M Croome, J T Fisher, C H Fisher, G H A Beard.

Resolved that permission be granted, on annual Tenancy from the 25^th day of March next at £2 per annum, M^r Marling putting in his pipe to the satisfaction of our Surveyor and so constructing his waterworks as not to waste water -- this Tenancy to include also a right to put a pipe into the Canal to supply the entrance Lodge.
Resolved that M^r Croome request M^r G B Smit for the load of M^r Warmans Bill on the Company in respect of the Stonehouse & Nailsworth Railway matters for the purpose of making a Copy thereof and that the Bill be then referred to the Solicitor of the Company, and that if he advises that the balance should be paid that M^r Croome give a cheque on behalf of the Company to M^r Warman for the amount due.
Resolved that the General Half Yearly be held on Wednesday April 27^th at 2 o'clock & the Committee Meeting at 12.
