Mr Beard had inspected the pier at Framilode and reported that the repairs would cost £30. The repairs were ordered to be done.
A letter from Mr Taunton explained the overflow of water in the upper canal at Wallbridge, which was due to Mr Chamber's man emptying the pound above.
Mr Peyton recommended that Oliver Sitlington, one of the Company’s servants, have the care of the water and lock between Dudbridge and Wallbridge and that he be allowed to reside in the cottage adjoining that occupied by the late Mr Cottle. This was agreed. Also that Mrs Cottle be at liberty to take the house at Dudbridge on the south of the Canal, occupied by her late husband, at a yearly rental of £6 6s, payable quarterly.

M^r Beard reported that he had inspected the Pier at Framilode and found repairs to be necessary to the extent of 330, and M^r Beard ordered the repairs to be done.
A Letter was read form M^r Taunton of March 4^th respecting the overflow of water in the Upper Canal at Wallbridge stating that M^r Chamber's man has emptied the Pound above which occasioned this overflow.
M^r Peyton recommended that Oliver Sitlington one of the Company's servants as a fit person to have the care of the water and Lock between Dudbridge and Wallbridge and that he should reside in the Cottage adjoining that occupied by the late M^r Cottle and the Committee adopted this recommendation.
Resolved that M^rs Cottle the Widow of the late M^r Cottle be at liberty to take the house and premises at Dudbridge on the South of the Canal occupied by her late husband from the 25^th day of March next at the yearly rental of £6..4..0 payable quarterly and subject to a quarters notice on either side to expire on any regular quarter day.
Also that the General Half Yearly Meeting be held on Wednesday the 26^th day of April at 1 o'clock.
