Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Thursday the 18^th day of May 1876 at 3,o,clock pm
Present: Mr G H A Beard Chairman.
[32] M^r Ehpriam Thompson Clerk to Messrs Kinrich & Tombs attended on behalf of Elizabeth Willis of Rodborough in the County of Gloucester Widow being the administratrix of Harriet Willis formerly of Rodborough but late of Portland Terrace Cheltenham spinster (who died on the 8^th day of February 1873) having made her will dated the 6^th November 1848 and thereof appointed her Mother Margaret Willis sole executrix who died in the lifetime of the said Testatrix and letters of administration with the said Will of the said Harriet Willis annexed were granted to the said Elizabeth Willis by the Principal Registry of Her Majestys Court of Probate on the 8^th day of August 1873 the said Harriet Willis being the owner by a Transfer to her dated the 22^nd day of May 1855 owner of shares numbered 149 and 150 in the undertaking of the Stroudwater Navigation and now standing in the name of the said Harriet Willis deceased in the books of the said Company of Proprietors by producing the letters of administration with will annexed, and the claim was admitted accordingly, and new tickets ordered to by made out on the tickets or titles of the said Harriet Willis deceased being delivered up.
[32] M^r W W Kearsey of Stroud in the County of Gloucester Gentleman attended on behalf of and under a written authority from Sophia Perry Herrick of Beau Manor Park in the County of Leicester, Widow, Charles Davidson of No 6 Stone Buildings Lincolns Inn in the County of Middlesex, Barrister at Law Esquire and James Bowker of No 6 Bedford Row in the County of Middlesex Gentleman being three of the Executors named in the Will of William Perry Herrick late of Beau Manor Park aforesaid Esquire (who died on the 15^th day of February 1876) and made out their claim to six shares numbered 72, 105, 147, 152, 179 and 188 of the undertaking of the Stroudwater Navigation and now standing in the name of the said William Perry Herrick deceased in the books of the said Company of Proprietors, by producing the Probate of the Will of the said William Perry Herrick deceased bearing date the 17^th day of January 1872 with a codicil thereto dated the 22^nd day of November 1875, and proved in the Principal Registry of the Probate Division of Her Majestys High Court of Justice on the 21^st day of April 1876, power to prove being reserved to Biggs Andrews the other surviving Executor named in the said Will,
and the claim was admitted accordingly and new tickets ordered to be made out on the tickets or titles of the said William Perry Herrick deceased being delivered up.
