The assignment from this Company to Mr Henry Spain of the judgement debt recovered by this Company against the Stonehouse and Nailsworth Railway Company and the accrued and accruing interest in consideration of the £1441 2s 8d was produced and sealed.

Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Thursday the 17^th day of May 1877 @ 3,o,clock pm
Present: G H A Beard Esqr, Chairman, Mr T M Croome, Mr C H Hooper, Mr T Marling, Mr J T Stanton, Mr E C Little, Major Fisher, Mr S Phipps, Mr j T Fisher.
It was proposed, seconded and carried unanimously that Mr G H A Beard be Chairman for the ensuing year.
[32] Mr William James Snape Clerk to the Company of Proprietors of the Stroudwater Navigation attended on behalf of and under a written Authority from Harriett Jane Brittan of Widcombe Villa, Richmond Hill, Clifton, Bristol Widow, and Alfred Brittan of Albion Chambers Bristol Gentleman, being executors named in the Will of the late Elizabeth Augusta George late of Carfield House, Weston-super-mare in the County of Somerset Spinster (who died on the 22^nd day of June 1876) and made out the claim to two shares numbered 99 and 176 of the undertaking of the Stroudwater Navigation, and now standing in the name of the said Elizabeth Augusta George deceased in the books of the said Company of Proprietors, by producing the probate of the Will of the said Elizabeth Augusta George deceased, bearing date the 21^st day of May 1876 and proved in the District Registry attached to the Probate Division of Her Majestys High Court of Justice in Wells on the 11^th day of July 1876,
And the claim was admitted accordingly and new tickets ordered to be made out on the tickets or titles of the said Elizabeth Augusta George deceased being delivered up.
[32] Mr William James Snape, Clerk to the Proprietors of the Stroudwater Navigation, attended on behalf of and under a written authority from Charles Jacomb of 61 Moorgate Street in the City of London Gentleman (formerly described as Charles Jacomb junr of Basinghall Street in the City of London Gentleman) Major General Sir Henry Charles Barnston Daubery K C B of number 36 Elraston place, Queens Gate Middlesex, and Joseph Stancliff Hurst of Copt Hewick Hall Ripon Malttser, being executors under the Will of the late Jane Jacombe late of Number 5 Mount Ephraim Road, Tonbridge Wells in the County of Kent Spinster (who died on the 24^th day of February 1877) and made out their claim to two shares numbered 57 and 107 of the undertaking of the Stroudwater Navigation and now standing in the name of the said Jane Jacomb deceased in the books of the said Company of Proprietors, by producing the Probate of the Will of the said Jane Jacomb deceased bearing date the 22^nd day of February 1872, and proved in the Principal Registry of the Probate Division of Her Majesty's High Court of Justice on the 20^th day of March 1877.
And the Claim was admitted accordingly and new tickets ordered to be made out on the tickets or titles of the said Jane Jacomb deceased being delivered up.
[45] The assingment from the Company to Mr Henry Spaid of the Judgement debt recovered by this Company against the Stonehouse & Nailsworth Railway Company and the accrued and accruing interest in consideration of £1441..1..8 was produced and the same having been approved by the Solicitor of this Company it was ordered that the seal of this Company be affixed thereto by the Chairman, & the Seal was accordingly affixed thereto in the presence of the Committee.
