Summary

Mr Kearsey’s bill as solicitor to the Stroudwater Company for managing the Stonehouse and Nailsworth Railway matter amounts to £87 9s 6d and £39 0s 6d a portion of his former bill being chargeable to the Stonehouse and Nailsworth Railway debt account as well as the sum of £20 19s 11d already paid to Mr Kearsey from ordinary revenue account.
Mr J Wood of Stroud was considering taking the premises at Wallbridge Wharf. Mr Wood to make a proposal.
Plans and specifications for the erection of a dwelling house at Wallbridge passed by committee.

Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Thursday the 21^st day of June 1877 @ 3,o,clock pm
Present: Mr G H A Beard Chairmna, Mr J T Stanton, Mr E C Little, Mr C H Hooper, Mr T M Croome, Mr S Phipps, Mr T Marling.
[46] Mr Kearsey having delivered a further bill in the Stonehouse and Nailsworth Railway matter amounting to £87..9..6 and £39..0..6 a portion of his former bill of £88..15..2 being chargeable to the Stonehouse and Nailsworth Railway debt a/c, as well as the sum of £20..19..11 already paid to Mr Kearsey from ordinary Revenue a/c,
Resolved, that a cheque for £20..19..11 be drawn on the debt a/c and paid to the Revenue a/c and that a further cheque for £126..10..0 the total of Mr Kearsey's charges in reference to the Stonehouse and Nailsworth Railway debt be drawn for him upon the debt a/s, and that a further cheque of £49..14..8 be drawn from the Revenue a/c and paid to Mr Kearsey in full of his charges for general business, these payments balancing the accounts to the present time.
[42] Mr J Wood of Stroud met the Committee with reference to taking the premises at Wallbridge Wharf, but as no definite arrangement could be come to, it was suggested that Mr Wood consider the matter again and make a proposal, which proposal is to be considered by a sub-committee of Mr Beard, Mr Croome and Mr J T Stanton.
[48] Plans and Specifications for the erection of a dwelling house at Wallbridge were laid before the Committee, the same having been passed the Clerk was directed to advertise for Tenders, which are to be submitted to the sub-committee above named.
