General Half Yearly Meeting. Tonnage since 1 October 1878 £1598 6s 4d. After wages, etc, profit £748 6s 3d. Dividend of £3 10s declared.
The sum of £12, half year’s interest on £800 drawn from the Stonehouse and Nailsworth Railway Company’s Judgment debt, placed in Stroudwater Navigation’s Canal account.

The Minutes of the Committee since the last General Meeting were approved and confirmed.
[1] It appears that the sum of £598..6..4 has been received from the 1^st day of October 1878 to the 1^st day of April 1879 and a balance brought forward from the last Half year (after payment of Dividend) £74..12..8 making a total of £1672..18..8 of which sum £924..12..5 has been applied towards payment of wages disbursement, etc, and there remains in the hands of the Treasurer the sum of £748..6..3 available for Dividend.
[13] Ordered that a Dividend of £3..10..0 on each share be declared payable on the 1^st day of May next free of Income tax.
The sum of £800 the balance of £812 in the Bank on the 25^th day of December 1878 on a/c of the Stonehouse and Nailsworth Railway Cos Judgement Debt, remains in the hands of the Treasurer, the sum of £12 (being half years interest on £800 to 25^th Dec 1878) having been drawn and placed in the Canal a/c as per Ledger.
Resolved that the following Gentlemen form the Committee for the year next following or until another Committee shall be appointed:
