Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Tuesday the 18^th day of December 1888 @ 3,o.clock pm
Present: Mr E C Little Chairman, Mr H H Mills, Sir W H Marling Bart, Mr J Howard, Mr A J M Ball, Mr W Davies junr, Mr E P Little.
[44] Mr Hamilton Mills informed the Committee that he had seen Mr Lambert and Mr Nelson of the Great Western Railway on the subject of the Thames and Severn Canal who led him to suppose that the price they would ask if it would be very far in excess of the sum the Committee had named, whereupon he was requested to ask the Railway Authorities to fix a price.
[31] The Clerk was instructed to ascertain of the Stroud Water Company, whether that Company would compound for water rates.
[7] Peter Daniels attended the Meeting and was told he would be allowed 10/- a week until the next Meeting.
