Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Tuesday the 15^th day of January 1889
Present: Mr E C Little Chairman, Mr H H Mills, Mr John Howard, Mr C H Hooper, Sir W H Marling Bart, Mr W^m Davies.
[28] The Cainscross Co-operative Society having applied to the Clerk for wharfage accommodation at Ryeford. the Chairman reported that he had in company with the Clerk inspected the premises and that he thought the necessary accommodation might be afforded if Sir William Marling would permit his Coal pen or small Garden there to be used for the purpose which Sir William Marling promised to consider.
[7] Mr Whiting of Eastington wharf having applied, for the creation of a Stable for which he would be willing to pay an adequate rent. Mr Hooper undertook to inspect the same and report at the next Meeting.
[4] The Stroud Water Company having proposed to lay their water pipes over the Cross Bridge at Stonehouse. Mr Hamilton Mills was requested to prepare the necessary agreement on the same terms as in the case of the Ryeford and Dudbridges.
[7] Peter Daniel's allowance of 10/- per Week was ordered to be continued until the next Meeting.
