A letter from the Stroud Local Board of Health to the Clerk of this Company declining to extend the water Main to the Ship Inn having been read he was directed to attend an early Meeting of that Board to explain the circumstances which appeared to render the obligation to extend the Water Main more or less conclusive.
It was resolved that 2.6 a year should be charged to the Stroud Gas Co for a drain from their works across the Towing Path by the Swing Bridge, into the Canal.
Sir W H Marling#s offer (see Minute of last Meeting) for letting the Railway Siding at Ebley having been discussed (the conditions upon which it was agreed to accept his offer having been declined by him) the matter was again alluded to, but owing to there being an inadequate number of Committee men present (without including Sir W H Marling) the further consideration of it was postponed sine die.
The Seal of the Company was affixed to the Tenancy of Agreement of a House at Downfield to John Potter.
