Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Tuesday the 19^th day of September 1893 @ 3,o,clock pm
Present: Mr E C Little Chairman, Mr H H Mills Solicitor, Mr W^m Davies, Mr C H Hooper, Sri W H Marling Bart, Mr Jno Howard, Mr E P Little.
Ordered that the nest Committee Meeting be held on Tuesday the 24^th day of October at 3,o,clock pm and the Half-yearly Meeting on the same day at 3.30pm,
The Clerk reported that the new Weighing Machine at Dudbridge was in progress and that it was being supplied by Messrs Bartlett & Son of Bristol, Mr Stanton being of opinion that the old one was past repair and the tender of Messrs Bartlett & Son for a new one being materially less that that of Messrs Amery & Co.
A letter was read from Messrs Strachan & Co wishing for the matter regarding the supply to them of Canal Water to rest over until their next Board Meeting on October 2^nd,
A letter was also read from the Local Government Board in which the Assistant Secretary stated that the Board could not interfere any further with the matter of the supply of water to the Ship Inn by the Stroud Local Board.
With regard to the Canal Rates and the enquiry about to be held by the Board of Trade on the 10^th October and following days it was resolved that a Meeting should be held on the 5^th October at the Canal Office by the Committee appointed on the 15^th December 1891 to consider the revised classification of Merchandise traffic and a revised Schedule of Maximum rates, tolls and charges and dues under the Railway and Canal Traffic Act 1888.
