Mr Waddy, on behalf of Gloucester & Berkeley Canal Company, requested attendance of representative of Company at meeting in Gloucester, 23 January, to discuss resolution passed by shareholders in Thames & Severn Canal Co at Reading.

A letter to the Clerk from Mr Waddy (on behalf of the Gloucester and Berkley Canal Co) requesting the the attendance of some representatives of this Company at a Meeting to be held at Gloucester on Friday the 23^rd inst touching the resolution that had been passed by the Shareholders of the Thames & Severn Canal Company held at Reading on the 16^th Jany last having been read it was resolved that the Chairman with Mr Hooper and the Clerk should attend it.
