General Half Yearly Meeting. Tonnage since 1 April £907 6s 10d. After wages, etc, profit £257 2s 3d. Dividend of £1 5s declared.
At a General Half-yearly Meeting of the Proprietors of the Stroudwater Navigation, held at the Canal office Wallbridge, Stroud, on Tuesday the 23^rd day of October 1894 @ 3.30pm

The Minutes of the Committee since the last General Meeting were approved and confirmed.
It appears that the sum of £907..6..10 has been received from the 1^st day of April 1894 to the 1^st day of October 1894, and a balance brought forward from last Half-year (after payment of Dividend) of £67..17..3 making a total of £975..4..1 of which sum £718..1..10 had been applied towards payment of Wages disbursements, etc, (including a sum of £134..9..3) tonnage paid to Thames and Severn Canal Co) and there remains in the hands of the Treasurer the sum of £257..2..3 available for Dividend.
Ordered that a Dividend of £1..5..0 on each Share be declared, payable on the 1^st day of November next, free on Income Tax, carrying forward a balance of £7..2..3 to the next Half-years Account.
The sum of £470..17..11 in the hands of the Treasurer stands to the Credit of the Reserve Fund.
