National Telephone Co asked to place telephone poles of canal towing path from Bond’s Mill, Eastington, to wharf at Wallbridge.
Drainage from Mr Kimmin’s school into canal discussed. Attention of Mr Sibly, as chairman of the Stonehouse Parochial Committee, to be drawn to it.
Company Seal attached to agreement with Mr Tucker, tenant of house at Bristol Road Wharf.
Chairman to attend deputation of Public Bodies to Board of Trade.
Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Tuesday the 19^th day of March 1895 @ 3,o,clock pm
Present: Mr E C Little Chairman, Mr H H Mills Solicitor, Mr C H Hooper, Sir W H Marling Bart, Mr S S Marling, Mr W J Stanton, Mr E P Little.
It was resolved that the next Committee Meeting be held on Tuesday the 23^rd April at 3,o,clock and the General Half-yearly Meeting on the same day at 3.30pm.
Some correspondence with the National Telephone Co with reference to the placing of Telephone Poles on the towing pat of the Canal from Bond's Mill Eastington to the Wharf at Wallbridge was read and considered, whereupon Mr Hamilton Mills was requested to peruse the same and advise the Committee.
The drainage from Mr Kimmins School into the Canal was also discussed and it was deterimined that Mr G W Sibly's attention as Chairman of the Stonehouse Parochial Committee should be directed to it.
The Seal of the Co was attached to the Agreement for the Tenancy of the House at Bristol R^D wharf (Mr Tucker).
Mr Hamilton Mills reported what progress had been made in the Thames & Severn Canal Bill and that a deputation of Public Bodies to the Board of Trade (having special reference to a letter from the Local Government Board) had been arranged for the 22^nd inst upon which it was resolved that the Chairman should attend on behalf of the Committee.
