Completion of extension of bank at Saul and piling of canal bank near Stroud Gas Works. Cost about £13.
Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Tuesday the 25^th day of April 1899 @ 3 o'clock pm
Present: Mr C H Hooper Chairman, Mr H Hamilton Mills Solicitor, Mr W Davies, Mr A B Hooper, Mr E P Little, Mr S S Marling,, Mr W J Stanton, Sir W H Marling Bart.
The various Accounts, Books & Vouchers signed by the Auditor and certified to be correct were produced and passed.
The Treasurers Book was produced, examined and signed by the Chairman.
The Clerk reported the completion of the extension of the bank at Saul, which was undertaken at the instance of the Parish Council, and that he had applied for the £3 which they has offered to contribute.
The Clerk reported the completion of the 'piling' of the Canal bank at the Stroud Gas Works, materials & labour costing about Thirteen pounds.
A stoppage of the Canal for the purpose of putting in the new bottom gates at Dudbridge had been fixed to commence on Monday May 1^st.
