At a General Half Yearly Meeting of the Proprietors of the Stroudwater Navigation held at their Office at Wallbridge on Tuesday the 19^th day of April 1904 @ 3.30pm

It appears that the sum of £805..14..1 has been received from the 1^st day of October 1903 to the 1^st day of April 1904 and a balance brought forward of £101 from last Half Year (after payment of Dividend) making a total of £906..14..1 of which sum £559..3..4 has been applied toward the payment of wages disbursements, etc (including the sum of £150..3..4 paid towards the deficit of the Revenue of the Thames & Severn Canal, (Act 1895,) and there remains in the hands of the Treasurer the sum of £347..10..11 available for Dividend.
Ordered that a Dividend of £1..10..0 per share be declared payable on the 1^st day of May next free of Income Tax carrying forward a balance of £47..10..11 to the next Half-Years Account.
The sum of £76..6..9 in the hands of the Chancery Lane Safe Deposit & Offices C^o Ltd and £520..1..0 in Cape of Good Hope 3½% Inscribed Stock stands to the Credit of the Reserve Fund making a total of £596..7..9.
