Messrs Vowles agreed to limit of weight on swing bridge at Stonehouse and to non use of traction engines. Asked permission to use motor vehicles. Agreed.
Electric Power Co had laid cable across canal at Ebley but failed to return agreement signed.
Bottom gates at Blunder Lock repaired but weak. Will need renewing before long.
£70 13s 10d from liquidator in re Smith & Sons Ltd, Brimscombe. Dividend on debt to Company.
Lionel Humphries to sign agreement but wished notice to be given by either party to be increased from one week to fortnight. Agreed.

[1916 October] Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 18^th day of October 1916 @ 3.30pm.
Present: Philip Jas Evans, Edward P Little, F S Whittingham, A J Morton Ball, Jack Margetson, S S Marling, W^m Davies, F A Little.
The Minutes of the last Meeting were read and confirmed.
Correspondence with Messrs Vowles respecting their use of the Swing Bridge at Stonehouse was read in which they agreed to the limit of weight imposed by the Company and to the non use of traction Engines but asked for permission to use Motor Vehicles.
The Committee agreed to this and M^r Whittingham was asked to write to Messrs Vowles accordingly.
The Electric Power C^o had laid the Cable across the Canal at Ebley Mills but had failed to return the Agreement concerning same - signed.
Mr Whittingham will write them for this.
The Surveyor reported that:-
1 The bottom gates at Blunder Lock had been repaired but these gates were getting weak and would need renewing before very long.
2 A Cheque had been received value £70..13..10 for the Liquidator in re Smith & Son's Ltd, Brimscombe for the amount of Dividend on their debt to the Company.
3 Lionel Humphries had agreed to sign the proposed agreement but wished the notice to be given by either party to be altered from one month to a fortnight which was
