Application from four of Company’s employees for increase of wages. Advance of 3s per week. Higher cost of living. Iliff made similar application. 1s increase in wage paid by Company. Could apply to County Council for increase for Thames & Severn part of his work.
Repairs to heel and balance pole of top gates of Top Lock, Dudbridge.

Letter from Canal Association to say no action to be taken re proposal of Rochdale Co.

The Minutes of the last Meeting were read and confirmed.
Correspondence with Messrs Vowles & Sons since the last meeting was produced and read the matter now being settled, and the last letter from Messrs Vowles would be stamped with an agreement Stamp.
The agreement with Messrs Steel & C^o respecting Electric Cable under Canal at Ebley was sealed and attested by the Chairman and Secretary.
In pursuance with the resolution passed at the last meeting of the Committee the Chancery Lane Deposit Co and the London & Westminster Bank (who hold the Cape of Good Hope 3½ per cent Stock for the Company) had sent forms to fill in authorising the payment of the Dividends and Interest to Lloyds Bank Ltd, Stroud.
Application from four of the Company's Employees had been received for increase of wages and it was agreed to give them an advance of 3^s/- per week on account of higher cost of living - Iliff also made as similar application and it was agreed to increase the proportion of his wages paid by the Company by 1^s/- leaving him to apply if he wishes to the County Council for an increase for the Thames & Severn part of his work.
Repairs had been carried out to the Heel and Balance pole of Top Gates Top Lock Dudbridge. To roof of Cottage at Dudbridge - slight repairs has been done.
Letter from Canal Association was read and it was not considered desirable to take any action respecting the proposal of the Rochdale Company.
