Your vessel has passed down canal to Gas Works without a ticket. You are liable to a fine.

Sir Having been informed that one of your vessels passed down the Canal to the Gas Works with a cargo of Drift tar without your Capt^n having called for a Ticket I have to inform you that you are liable to a fine for so doing, & that I shall place the case before the Committee of the SN this day.
