Richard Hawker claimed shares nos.31,32,33,34, 35,67,74,9,148,196,94,3 will of Francis Knight.
At a Special Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Walbridge the Tenth Day of April 1832
Present: M^r Grazebrook, M^r Wyatt, M^r P H Fisher, M^r J C Croome, M^r Sam^l Fisher, M^r Cosham.
Richard Hawker of Dudbridge in the County of Gloucester Esquire attended on behalf of himself and made out his Claim to Twelve Shares Numbers 32, 32, 33, 34, 35, 67, 74, 9, 148, 196, 94 and 3 in the Stroudwater Navigation late the Property of Francis Knight of Saville Row London Esquire deceased by producing the Probate of the Will of the said Francis Knight date the 25^th Day of November 1831 and proved by the said Richard Hawker and Joseph Hawker Esquire tow of the Executors named in the said Will in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury the 4^th Day of February 1832 by which Will it appears that the said Richard Hawker is the residuary Devisee and Legatee of all the personal Estate and Effects of the said Francis Knight deceased And the Claim of the said Richard Hawker is hereby admitted accordingly.
