[1937 July] Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 28^th day of July 1937 @ 4 o'clock pm
Present: W R Bloxam, Henry R Hooper.
There being only two Members of the Committee present there was no quorum but there being some matters requiring immediate attention it was decided to proceed with them subject to confirmation by the next Committee.
Walbridge Wharf, Messrs Strachan & Coy
The Chairman reported Messrs Strachan's offer of £125 for land and that they would pay £100 for a grant of permanent right of way. This was accepted and the Glerk was instructed to inform Messrs Strachan & C^oy,
Warehouse & portion of Wharf at Dudbridge, M^r Wiggall
The Clerk reported that M^r Wiggall had signed the Company's Agreement.
A letter from M^r Wiggall was read asking permission to try one week end small fair. This was agreed to.
Whiting re County Council
No reply had been received to the Chairman's letter to the County Surveyor.
Premises at Wallbridge (Old "Ship Inn") Water pipes (M^r Pearce)
The Clerk reported that M^r Pearce had been informed in accordance with Minute of last Meeting.
