Stroud Gas Co given permission to put a pipe at Roving Bridge.
[1938 Jany] Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 26^th day of January 1938 @ 4 o'clock pm
Present: W R Bloxam, Henry R Hooper, R J C Little.
There being only three Members of the Committee present there was no quorum but there being some matters requiring immediate attention it was decided to proceed with them subject to confirmation by the next Committee.
[Sale £225] Wallbridge Wharf, Messrs Strachan & Coy
The Chairman stated that he had handed to the Clerk Messrs Strachan & Companys Cheque for the proceeds of the sale, £225..-, which had been placed to the Navigations A/c at Lloyd's Bank Ltd, Stroud.
Dudbridge Wharf: Stabling, Office & Weighing Machine
The Chairman stated that since the last Meeting part of the Wharf at Dudbridge, Including the Stalbe, Office and Weighing Machine had been let to Messrs Jackson Ltd, of Coventry at an annula rent of £45 payable half-yearly in advance on a Lease. The Lease was sealed and signed by the Chairman and the Clerk. The Counterpart Lease had been received and a Cheque £22..10.0 for the first half-years rent.
Stroud Gas Works, Roving Bridge
An application by the Stroud Gas Company to place a pipe at this bridge was granted subject to the usual form of Agreement at a rental of £2 per annum.
