[1939 Jany] Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 25^th day of January 1939 @ 4 o'clock pm
Present: W R Bloxam, Henry R Hooper, R J C Little.
There being only three Members of the Committee present there was no quorum, but there being some matters requiring immediate attention it was decided to proceed with them subject to confirmation by the next Committee.
Rents unpaid: M^r Palmer
The Clerk reported that M^r Palmer had paid the balance of the rent, £5, for the quarter ended 25/12/38.
Canal at Whitminster: M^r Parker's field
The Chairman stated that no further communication had been received from Messrs Langley Smith & Sons.
Stonepits Bridge
The Clerk had nothing to report.
Shallow Lock Bridge
The Clerk had nothing to report.
Bank at Bond's Mill at Eastington
The Clerk reported the position and stated that the Gas Company had requested certain services of this Company, for which they would pay.
Dudbridge Wharf, Messrs J & H B Jackson Ltd
Messrs Jackson had asked for permission to sub-let. After discussion the Committee agreed to granting the permission to sublet for the same purposes as stated in the Lease. The matter was handed to the Company's Solicitors to propose a Licence and to write to them.
