Sperry Gyroscope Co given permission for tenants of the cottages at their works to use the towpath towards Eastington for six months for £1. On foot only.

Canal Bank at Bond's Mill at Stonehouse
The Clerk reported that the repair of the bank was not yet completed.
Gas Mains in Towing Path at Stonehouse
A letter from the Stroud Gas Company was read; after discussion it was left to the Solicitors to answer.
M^r Parker's field at Whitminster
The Chairman stated that M^r Perry of the Sharpness Docks C^oy had inspected the field and Canal bank, and read his report thereon.
Messrs Sperry Gyroscope Ltd: Trespass on Towing Path at Stonehouse
A letter was read from Sperry Gyroscope Coy, after discussion, the Clerk was instructed to inform them that the Committee were prepared, in consideration of the sum of £1..- as an acknowledgement, to allow the tenants of the cottages at their works at Stonehouse the right to use the portion of the towing path towards Eastington, for the period of six months from 22^nd May 1939, such use to be restricted to foot passengers only.
Capt Brazeley: Motor pleasure Boat on Canal at Whitminster
The Committee agreed to the issuance of an inclusive £2..2..0 licence for the year 1939.
