Captain Bazeley to pay £2 2s for license for pleasure motor boat at Whitminster.
Stroud Metal Co applied for 1 inch pipe to run along the towpath to the Lock next to the Victoria Inn.
Flight of steps at entrance to warehouse to be replaced by Mr Hopson for £7 5s.
[1939 June] Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 21^st June 1939 ' 4 o'clock pm
Present: W R Bloxam, G A Evans, Henry R Hooper, R J C Little.
There being only four Members of the Committee present there was no quorum but there being some matters requiring immediate attention it was decided to proceed with them subject to confirmation by the next Committee.
Canal Bank next Bond's Mill at Stonehouse, Repair
It was reported that the repair had been completed.
Gas Mains at Stonehouse
The Chairman read a letter the Solicitors had written to the Gas Company. No reply has been received.
Mr Parker's field at Whitminster
Mr Perry's letter and plan of the levels of the field was submitted. After discussion the Committee decided that the Company's Solicitors write to M^r Parker's Solicitors. The Chairman undertook to write to M^r Perry to express the Committees thanks for the trouble he had taken, and to ask him for a note of his fees in the matter.
Messrs Sperry Gyroscope Coy Ltd
Messrs Sperry Gyroscope Coy Ltd had written agreeing to the Company's terms and conditions as set out in Minute of last Meeting of the Committee.
Capt Bazeley re Pleasure Motor Boat on Canal at Whitminster
It was reported that Captain Bazeley had agreed, and paid, £2..2..0, for a licence for 1939.
Stroud Metal Coy re water pipe at Dudbridge
An application was put in from the Metal Company for permission to take a supply of water from the Canal at Dudbridge. The Chairman stated that the Metal Company had been informed that our annual rental is usually based on a charge of £10 per inch diameter of the pipe. The Metal Company had replied that a one inch pipe would be sufficient, and enquired the Company's definite rent if the pipe was carried along the towing path to the Lock next the "Victoria Inn". The Committee agreed to let them have a one inch pipe subject to the Company's usual form of Agreement, for which they must pay, the rent to be fixed when we know the spot where the pipe is to connect with the Canal.
Messrs Ashmore, Benson, Pease & Coy Ltd, Water from the Canal at Stonehouse
A letter from Messrs Ashmore, Benson, Pease & Coy Ltd was read. They had been informed that the Company had no objection to renting them a pipe through which to take water from the Canal, that the annual rental was usually based on a charge of £10 per inch diameter of the pipe. No reply had been received.
Warehouse at Wallbridge: Entrance Steps
Mr Hopson's estimate, £7..5..0, for the replacement of the flight of steps to the Warehouse was accepted.

Ordered that the next Meeting of the Committee be held at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 26^th July 1939 @ 4 o'clock pm and the General Half Yearly Meetin g@ 4.30pm on same day.
