Mary Helen Marling claimed share nos, 101,152,153,154,178,189, will of Major W J P Marling.
[1940 Jany] Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 24^th day of January 1940 at 3 o'clock pm
Present: W R Bloxam, Henry R Hooper, G A Evans, R J C Little.
There being only four Members of the Committee present there was no quorum but there being some matters requiring immediate attention it was decided to proceed with them subject to confirmation by the next Committee.
Gloucester Corporation: Water pipes crossing the Canal at Whitminster, Saul and Framilode Bridges.
In accordance with Minute of last Meeting the Chairman had settled a letter for the Clerk to sent to the Corporation. No reply had been received thereto.

A letter from the Company was read. After discussion the Committee decided that the reply be settled by the Chairman.
Claim of seven Shares, Major W J P Marling deceased
Richard William Bloxam of Stroud in the County of Gloucester Solicitor attended under a written authority from Many Helen Marling of Great Rissington Manor Bourton-on-the-Water in the County of Gloucester Widow Norman Tyrer of Stanley Cottage Richmond Hill in the County of Surrey Chartered Accountant and the Public Trustee of the Public Trustee Office, Kingsway, London WC2 Executors of the Will of William John Payley Marling late of Great Rissington Manor aforesaid who died on the 9^th April 1938 and made out their claim to seven shares numbered respectively 101, 152, 153, 154, 178, 184 and 189 of the Undertaking of the Stroudwater Navigation and now standing in the name of the said William John Payley Marling aforesaid in the Books of the said Company by producing the tickets or titles to the said seven shares and the Probate of the Will of the said William John Payley Marling the said Will proved and registered in the Prinicpal Probate Registry of His Majestys High Court of Justice on the first day of July 1939 and the claim was admitted accordingly and new tickets or titles ordered to be made out on the tickets or titles of the said seven shares being delivered up.
