[1941 June] Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 18^th June 1941 @ 3 o'clock pm
Present: W R Bloxam, Henry R Hooper, G A Evans, R J C Little.
There being only four Members of the Committee present there was no quorum but there being some matters requiring immediate attention it was decided to proceed with them subject to confirmation by the next Committee.
Bristol Road Bridge, Damage
The accounts were discussed. It was Ordered that separate accounts be prepared for the Company's Solicitors to forward to the Insurance Company.
Gashouse Bridge, Damage, Messrs Mowlem & Coy
The Clerk reported that Messrs Mowlem had not kept an appointment to meet at the bridge fixed for the 9^th June last. A subsequent appointment to meet at the Wallbridge Office had not been kept at the time appointed. The Clerk was at Eastington when their Agent called.
Stroud Rural District Council re overflow at Stonehouse
After discussion the Chairman undertook to settle a letter for the Clerk to sent to the Surveyor of the Council.
Blunder Lock, War Damage
A letter from the Ministry of War Transport was read.
Fire Watching at Eastington: Shed at Eastington
The Ministry had enquired if the joint scheme at Eastington had received the approval of the Gloucester Rural District Council and if so they asked that a copy of the approval be forwarded. The Rural District Council had been written to but no reply had been received so far.

After discussion it was decided to inform the Company that the Navigation's charge for a pipe to the Canal would be £10 a week payable in advance quarterly.
Canal Association
Certain information desired by the Canal Association had been supplied.
Framilode Tide Gate, Pockett's report
Tidesman Pockett had reported that the Tide Gate needed repair or renewal. After discussing the Clerks report the Committee directed that an estimate for the fixing of a dam in the chamber of the upper gates at Framilode Lock be obtained. In the meantime the Clerk to see M^r Perry of the Sharpness New Docks Coy respecting the Company's proposals.
Ordered that the General Half Yearly Meeting of the Company be held at the Wallbridge Office on Wednesday the 23^rd July 1941 @ 3.30 o'clock pm.
