[1944 May] Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 17^th May 1944 @ 3 o'clock pm
Present: W R Bloxam, Henry R Hooper, G W Morton Ball, R J C Little.
There being only four Members of the Committee present there was no quorum but there being some matters requiring immediate attention it was decided to proceed with them subject to confirmation by the next Committee.
Stroud Electric Supply Company Ltd, Cable across the Canal at Downfield
The Agreement with the Electric Supply Company was produced. The Committee authorized that the Seal of the Company be affixed thereto. It was noted that the term was left open pending the commencement of the laying of the cable.
Junction Lock at Saul, RAF
There was nothing to report.
Eastington Wharf Gates, Damage, M^r C Beresford
The Chairman stated that M^r Beresford had not replied to the Solicitors letter. The matter was left to the Solicitors.
Framilode Lockhouse, Grate
Messrs Bradley had been instructed to proceed with the work in accordance with their estimate viz: £5..10..0.

The Chairman read letters from Messrs Leicester Lovell. The Committee agreed to sanction the proposal subject to an annual wayleave rent of £2..0..0 and to the Company's usual Agreement to be prepared by the Company's Solicitors at their expense.
The appointment of M^r C L Stephens, the new Manager of Lloyd's Bank Ltd at Stroud as successor to M^r F L du Sautoy was approved, the letter to be written by the Chairman.
