At a General Half Yearly Meeting of the Proprietors of the Stroudwater Navigation held at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 26^th July 1944 @ 3.30 o'clock pm

It appears that the sum of £402..14..10 had been received from the 1^st day of January 1944 to the 30^th day of June 1944 and a balance brought forward of £141..2..11 making a total of £543..16..9 of which sum £409..0..4 had been applied towards payment of wages, Disbursements, etc, and there remains in the hands of the Treasurer the sum of £134..16..5.
Ordered that no Dividend for the Half Year ending 30^th June 1944 be paid.
£511..19..5 3½% War Loan Stock valied at £526..1..0 and £183..17..8 3% National Defence Stock 1954-58 stands to the credit of the Reserve Fund making a total of £708..18..8.
Resolved that the following Gentlemen form the Committee for the year next following or until another Committee be appointed:
