Steps to be taken to clear the bed of the canal below the Lodgemore culvert.
Stroud Joint Sewage Scheme to ensure canal bank maintained during operations, and that flow at crossing and Painswick Stream maintained. Wallbridge to be connected to sewer in lieu of wayleave.
Clerk authorized to repair Saul and Framilode bridge decks
Noted that the Navigation did not appear on the Ministry of War’s Transport map.

There being only four Members of the Committee present there was no quorum but there being some matters requiring immediate attention it was decided to proceed with them subject to confirmation by the next Committee.
Canal, Framilode Pound, Canal Buildings
There was nothing to report.
Canal, Lodgemore Culvert, Lodgemore Pound
The Clerk reported another leak which had been stopped. It was decided that steps should be taken to clear the bed of the Canal below the Culvert.
Ebley Intake, Condition
In accordance with Minute of last Meeting M^r Ball had inspected the place, he reported no need for repairs at present.
Stroud Joint Sewage Scheme
In accordance with Minute of last Meeting the Chairman had settled a letter for the Clerk to send to M^r Langley, and Mr Ball had met him at the Offices of the Stroud Urban District Council on the 29^th May last and had discussed the following points, to which M^r Langlley had agreed, vix:
1 Right over Canal Bank to be maintained during operations.
2 Flow at crossings and Painswick Stream to be maintained.
3 Wayleave and compensation to be referred to respective Committees.
Resolved to suggest that the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation would waive any claim to a Wayleave if the Sewerage Board would connect up No 13 Wallbridge to the Sewer.
Blunder Lock, Damage by Enemy Action
M^r Evans stated that he had submitted information supplied him by the Clerk to the Authority in London. It appeared that the matter would have to stand over pending Government decision.
Saul and Framilode Bridges
The Clerk reported that several of the deck planks in the Saul and Framilode Bridges should be replaced. He was authorized to have the necessary work carried out.
Canal, Stoppage of Towing Path
After discussion the Committee directed that the matter be reconsidered later.
Ministry of War Transport, Map
A plan of the Canals and Waterways Navigable dated 1945 received from the Ministry of War Transport was discussed. It was noted that the Stroudwater Navigation is not on the Map.
Dudbridge Wharf Warehouse Repairs, Tenant M^r Wiggall
With reference to the £8..1..0 account sent in by M^r Wiggall for repairs done by him to the Warehouse the Committee approved the amount and authorised payment and a Cheque was drawn and signed accordingly.
Next Meeting
Ordered that the next Meeting of the Committee be held at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 25^th July 1945 @ 3 o'clock pm and the General Half Yearly Meeting on same day @ 3.30 o'clock pm.
