There being only two Members of the Committee present there was no quorum but there being some matters requiring immediate attention it was decided to proceed with them subject to confirmation by the next Committee.
Canal, Lodgemore Pound and Culvert
There was nothing to report.
Stroud Joint Sewerage Scheme
There was nothing to report.
Bridges at Saul and Framilode, Repairs
M^r Hopson had the work in hand.
Ministry of Transport, Removal of Temporary Defence Works
M^r Hopson had been asked to furnish an estimate. It was suggested that the "Block Houses" should remain as they would be useful to the Company, and were not unsightly.
Dockhouse at Eastington, Faulty Copper
Reported that the brickwork had been repaired. The Copper is now efficient.
Wharfhouse at Wallbridge, M^r Lee tenant
In accordance with Minutes of last Meeting a letter had been written to M^r Lee. There had ben no reply so far.
Warehouse at Wallbridge, M^r Hopson tenant, Application for a lease
This matter was considered. Ordered that the matter be again considered.
The late M^r H R Hooer Claim of Share N^o 145
Miss Gwendolen Mary ooper of Corbet House, Stroud, in the County of Gloucester attended on behalf of herself, John Lappage Norris of Stroud aforesaid, incorporated Accountant and made out their claim as Executors under the Will of the late Henry Robert Hooper pf Corbet House Stroud in the County of Gloucester to one Share Numbered 145 of the Undertaking of the Stroudwater Navigation lately belonging to and now standing in the name of the said Henry Robert Hooper deceased in the books of the Company of Proprietors of the Stroudwater Navigation by producing the Probate of the Will of the said Henry Robert Hooper deceased bearing date the 27^th February 1945 and proved in the District Probate Registry of His Majesty's High Court of Justice of Gloucester on the 12^th day of June 1045 and also producing the said Ticket or Title to the said share and the claim was admitted accordingly and a new Ticket of Title ordered to be made out on the Ticket or Title of the said one share being delivered up.
