[1945 Oct] Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 17^th day of October 1945 @ 3 o'clock pm
Present: W R Bloxam, R J C Little, G W Morton Ball, G A Evans.
There being only four Members of the Committee present there was no quorum but there being some matters requiring immediate attention it was decided to proceed with them subject to confirmation by the next Committee.
Canal, Lodgemore Pound and Culvert
There was nothing to report.
Ministry of War Transport, Removal of Temporary Defence Works
There was nothing to report.
Stroud Joint Sewerage Scheme
There was nothing to report.
Wharfhouse at Wallbridge, Tenant M^r F W Lee
There was nothing to report.
Warehouse at Wallbridge, M^r Hopson Tenant, Application for a long lease
The Committee directed that a reply be sent to M^r Hopson suggesting that a long lease would require a considerably increased rent, that he will be better off with present terms.
Stroud District Water Board, Water Service pipe at Ryeford
An application was put in by the Board to lay a water service pipe along the towing path to the gate of the Canal Cottages from the Main road at Ryeford Bridge. The Committee sanctioned the proposal subject of an Agreement being signed, to be drawn out by the Company's Solicitors at the expensed of the Water Board. The Committee suggested an annual wayleave of 5/- paid in advance.
Stroud Sanitary Laundry Company, Canal at Ebley
The Chairman read a letter from M^r Horsfall with reference to cleaning the Canal Waterway at Ebley. After discussion the Clerk was instructed to see M^r Horsfall, to ascertain whether we was getting all the water he requires.

The Chairman read a letter from M^r Vernall. The Committee decided to acknowledge receipt of the letter and at the same time to ask him to return the Copy of the Company's Act of Parliament handed to him at Wallbridge Office on the 5^th September last.
