[1945 Nov] Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 21^st day of November 1945 @ 3 o'clock pm
Present: W R Bloxam, G A Evans, G W Morton Ball, R J C Little.
There being only four Members of the Committee present there was no quorum but there being some matters requiring immediate attention it was decided to proceed with them subject to confirmation by the next Committee.
Ministry of War Transport, Removal of Temporary Defence Works
There was nothing to report.
Warehouse at Wallbridge, M^r Hopson's application for a long lease
Reported the M^r Hopson had withdrawn his application.
Stroud and District Water Board, Service Water pipe at Ryeford
In accordance with Minute of last Meeting a letter had been written to the Water Board which they had acknowledged stating that their Clerk, M^r Warman, would no doubt get in touch with the Company's Solicitors.
Stroud Sanitary Laundry Company, Canal
In accordance with Minute of last Meeting the Clerk had had an interview with M^r Horsfall at his Office in Ebley. M^r Horsfall stated that he was getting all the water he requires.
Canal, M^r Vernall
M^r Vernall had returned the Copy of the Canal Act of Parliament.
Sperry Gyroscope Company Ltd, Stonehouse, Blockhouse and Swing Bridge next Bond's Mills, Stonehouse
The Chairman read a letter from the Company; after discussion the Committee considered that the Blockhouse should be removed, and the Bridge made to swing as before. The Chairman undertook to settle a letter for the Clerk to sent to the Company.
Framilode Property, M^r Peachey tenant
A letter from M^r Peachey was read. The Clerk was instructed to ask M^r Hopson to undertake repair to the roof and also to the wooden boundary wall.
Blunder Lock, Damage by enemy action
As directed the Clerk has written to the Director General Ministry of War Transport under date 6^th November. There had been no reply.
