At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Walbridge on Thursday the 25^th day of February 1835
Present: M^r J W Wood, D^r Darke, M^r Cosham, M^r Holbrow, M^r Jos^h Fisher, M^r Eycott, M^r Wyatt, M^r Wathen, M^r T C Croome.
Examined the Books and Accounts of the Company.
Ordered that the following Bills and Accounts be paid - viz:
J P Brisley, Stationary: 6..8..8
John Dimock, Timber: 9..8..-
Daniel Hewlett, Paint, etc: 0..14..11
James Butt, Ironmongery: 5..15..-
Richard Bushell, Iron Work: 10..4..9
M^r Wakefield, M^r Sims and M^r George attended and made a Claim for Compensation in Consequence of Loss sustained from the Stoppage of the Canal by the Accident at Dudbridge Lock.
Ordered that such Claim be referred to the next General Meeting.
Ordered that M^r Hawker do write to M^r Allan Mason making a Claim for Compensation for Injury done by his Servant in breaking the Lock at Dudbridge.
