Charles Boseley & Co, who has taken to the Gloucester Packet and Bristol Carrying the trade of J E Wakefield & Co, to be allowed credit for their tonnages.
Well at Framilode to be walled up and proper drain made.
Bag and spoon be provided for dredging mud to raise 5cwt. at a time.
George Basham’s tender 5½d per ton accepted.
John Burbidge produced book of Minutes, which was examined by Mr Hawker. John Burbidge £1 per week at end of first year’s service.
At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Walbridge on Thursday the 19^th day of October 1837

Examined the Books and Accounts of the Company.
Ordered That Charles Boseley and Company who has taken to the Gloucester Packet and the Bristol Carrying Trade of J E Wakefield & Co (and who have applied for Credit for their Tonnages for the Period of Half a Year) be allowed Credit for their Tonnages on the Canal for every current quarter of the year - but in Case of the failure of Payment at the Expiration of the Current quarter that the Privilege be withdrawn.
Ordered that the following Bills be allowed and paid:

Ordered That the Well at Framilode be walled up and that a proper Drain be made therefrom.
Ordered that a Bag and Spoon be procured, for dredging Mud in the Canal, of such Capacity as will raise Five Cwt at a Time.
Ordered that George Basham's tender to dredge Mud from the Canal with the Bag and Spoon ordered above and the present Boat and to land the same at Convenient Places at the Rate of Five Pence Half Penny per Ton be accepted and that he do proceed with the Work under the direction of the Clerk.
John Burbidge produced his Book of Minutes which had been examined by M^r Hawker.
Ordered That the Wages allowed to John Burbidge be increased to One Pound per Week to commence from the Expiration of his first year's Service.
