Messrs Thomas and Samuel Marling applied for permission to remove bridge at Ebley Mill to west and use towing path for conveyance of materials for new buildings. Mr Cosham, Mr Beard, Mr Croome to see Messrs Marling.
Mr Hooper, lock keeper, allowed a great coat.
At a Meeting of the Committee held at the Committee Room at Walbridge on Wednesday the 15^th Day of April 1840
Present: M^r Cosham, M^r Holbrow, M^r S Fisher, M^r Croome, M^r Jos Fisher, M^r Wyatt, M^r Hughes, M^r Martin, M^r Beard, M^r Eycott, M^r Geo Wathen.
Examined the Books and Accounts of the Company.
Mess^rs Tho^s & Sam^l S Marling having applied by Letter for Permission to remove the Bridge at Ebley Mill t the West of its present Position and also to use the towing Path near the same Place for the Conveyance of Materials for their new Buildings,
Resolved: That M^r Cosham M^r Beard and M^r Croome be a Sub Committee to see Mess^rs Marling thereon and to ascertain their exact Proposals and to report thereon to the next General Meeting on Wednesday next.
Ordered That Hooper the Lockkeeper be allowed a Great Coat.
Ordere That the following Bills be paid:
