At a Special Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Walbridge on Friday the 19^th Day of August 1842
Present: M^r P H Fisher, M^r Wathen, M^r R Hughes, M^r Jos Fisher, M^r Holbrow, M^r Beard, M^r Wyatt, M^r Croome, M^r Cosham, M^r Stanton, M^r Martin.
Mr Holbrow in the Chair.
M^r Denyer having attended this meeting respecting a deduction of the Tonnages, Resolved that a deputation of four Gentlemen of the Committee do meet at Brimpscomb on Thursday the 25 of August next at 12 o'Clock in order to enter into an examination of the different articles upon which a reduction may appear advisable and submit the result of their meeting to a special Committee to be held the following day and that the subcommittee do consist of M^r Stanton, M^r Croome, M^r Hughes and M^r Holbrow.
Resolved that the return of the Comapny's Clerk (?under) the Income Tax for the last Year be £4779.19.8.
