Roberts to be summoned before magistrates for drawing down of Forked Pound Level at or near Whitminster and penalty recovered from him.

At a Special Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Walbridge on Saturday the 27^th day of May 1843

M^r P H Fisher, M^r Jn^o Fisher, M^r Sam^l Fisher, M^r Beard, M^r G Wathen in the Chair, M^r Holbrow, M^r Croome.
At a Meeting of the Committee held at the Wharf this day
The Resolutions of last meeting were read.
This Meeting was called in consequence of a communication by Letter to M^r Croome regarding the Bill brought into Parliament by the Forest of Dean Railway Company for making a Railway from the Forest of Dean to Gloucester and which had failed before the Committee appointed by the Commons to whom the Bill was referred in which it was suggested that a Meeting should be held between this Company, The Thames & Severn Canal Company and the opposers of the said Forest of Dean Railway Company.
It was resolved that a communication be made to M^r Wyatt in London & to request he would wait upon the Parties seemingly interested in the opposition to the said proposed Railway and learn their Views with regard to the same and report the same to a further meeting and that a Letter be written by M^r Croome in pursuance of the above resolution.
Ordered that the following Bills be paid:

Ordered that Roberts be summoned before the Magistrates for his Offence of drawing down the water of the Forked Pound Level on the Navigation at or near Whitminster and the penalty for so doing recovered from him.
