At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held in pursuance of the resolution of October 20^th, at the Committee Room at Wallbridge on friday 27th day of October 1843
Present: {In Time 2/6] M^r Samuel Fisher, M^r Hughes, M^r J F Fisher, M^r Stanton, M^r Holbrow, M^r Eycott, M^r Croome, M^r P H Fisher, M^r Wyatt, M^r Martin, M^r Beard, M^r Wathen, M^r Cosham.
The Treasurers half yearly account was produced and examined allowed and signed.
M^r Mason made a report of the cost of the New Culvert near Lockham Bridge amounting to £600.10.5 which was received and approved.

Ordered that the General Meeting be inform'd of the Resolution of the Meeting of the Committee held on the 18h Augt last respecting a further Drawback of 2^d per Ton on Coals sent to Oxford and that the same has been attended with success in increasing the amount of Tonnage,
Ordered that the General Meeting be requested to confirm such Resolution and Drawback.
M^r Mason produced an Abstract of the Expenditure on the Navigaton for management, etc, for the years 1839-1840 previously to his appointment as Clerk and for the years 1841, 1842 & 1843 subsequently thereto and also a paper shewing the Works done since his appointment which proved satisfactory by the additional quantity of the work done, the reason of the encreased expenditure during those years.
Ordered that more Reports be preserved and similar annual accounts be produced from time to time.
