Special Meeting. Bristol & Glocester Railway Co likely to compete in carriage of timber. Mr Sherwood to obtain more information.
At a Special Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 27th day of November 1844
Present: M^r Jn^o Stanton, D Watts, G H A Beard, W J Wood, Geo Wathen Chairman.
A Representation having been made that the Bristol and Glocester Railway Company are likely to compete with us in Carriage of Timber,
Resolved that the consideration of the Matter be left to our next Committee Meeting; in the mean time M^r Sherwood is desired to obtain the best information he can on the subject.
