{1932] Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 27^th day of January 1932 @ 4 o'clock pm
Present: W R Bloxam, Henry R Hooper, Stanley Marling, R J C Little, Gd Evans.
Thames and Severn Canal
The Chairman reported the receipt from the Ministry of Transport of a copy of a letter, dated the 12^th December last, he had received from the Clerk of the County Council in which it was stated that the Council do not admit the right of the Navigation to refuse water passing from the Thames & Severn Canal and that this letter from the Minister had been formally acknowledged.
Severn Fishery Board
The Clerk reported that the Board had paid £2..10..0 half rent charge as arranged.
Stroud Development Committee
A letter from the Committee was read and discussed. It was decided that no reply was necessary.
Canal Dredging at Ebley & Downfield
A letter from Ward & Son Ltd was read and the Clerk was authorized to dredge the points referred to.
Robert Johnston Caruthers-Little of 2 Rowcroft, Stroud in the County of Gloucester Solicitor attended under a written authority from Robert Johnston Carulthers-Little aforesaid and Alice Mabel Sale of Atcombe Court, Woodchester, near Stroud aforesaid Executors of the Will & Codicil of Frederick Arthur Little of Atcombe Court Woodchester aforesaid Esquire who died on the 20^th day of August 1931 and made out their claim to eight shares numbered respectively 14, 28, 29, 30, 89, 95, 109 and 116 of the Undertaking of the Stroudwater Navigation and now standing in the name of the said Frederick Arthur Little aforesaid in the Books of the said Company by producing the tickets or titles to the said eight shares and the Probate of the Will and Codicil of the said Frederick Arthur Little the said Will bearing date the 23^rd July 1931 and the said Codicil bearing date the 7^th August 1931 and proved by the said Executors in the Principal Probate Registry on the 14^th day of October 1931 and the claim was admitted accordingly and new tickets or titles ordered to be made out on the tickets and titles of the said Frederick Arthur Little being delivered up and to register the Probate in respect of eleven shares number respectively 16. 17. 51. 56. 60. 82. 83. 120. 140. 146 and 172 standing in the joint names of tee late Col John Caruthers-Little, the said Frederick Arthur Little and Edward Palling Little.
