At a General Half Yearly Meeting of the Proprietors of the Stroudwater Navigation held at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 26^th day of July 1933 @ 4.30 o'clock pm

It appears that the sum of £461..9..3 has been received from the 1^st day of January 1933 to the 30^th day of June 1933 and a balance brought forward of £397..19..3 from the last account making a total of £859..6..6 of which sum £456..13..2 has been applied towards payment of Wages, disbursements, etc, and there remains in the hands of the Treasurer the sum of £402..13..4.
Ordered that no Dividend for the Half Year ending June 1933 be paid.
£500 Cape of Good Hope 3½% Inscribed Stock values at £490..0..0 and £562 London & North Eastern Railway C^oy 4% 2^nd Preference Stock valued at £95..10..9 and £29..9..11 including 5.7 Interest transferred to Revenue A/c on Deposit at Lloyds Bank Ltd Stroud, stands to the credit of the Reserve Account making a total of £614..19..10.
It was Resolved that the following Gentlemen form the Committee for the year next following or until another Committee be appointed:

At the Committee Meeting the 26^trh I assume that the Proprietors for the Ensuing 6 months will be elected. In case the privilege of again being one of that body be accorded me, I write today that there is no likelihood of being able to attend, in the future. IF it is thought wise to have on the board, such an authority at Strachan & Co, I should like to suggest Marcus Steward. I have never as far as I can remember mentioned the matter to him
