Resolution to replace deceased commissioners 6 November 1777
We do by value of the powers and authorities vested in us by the said Act of Parliament hereby elect and appoint, William Halliday Sen in the place of Nathaniel Beard deceased John Stephens Esquire, in the place of the Hon. John Bathurst deceased, John Caruthers in the place of Alexander Colston dece, William Halliday Jun in the place of James Lenox Dutton Esquire deceased, Thomas Turner jun in the place of William Dalloway Esquire deceased, Samuel Remington un the place of John Davies M.D. deceased, Robert Ellis in the place of John Gillman deceased, William Hopkins in the place of Nicholas Hyatt deceased, William Slater in the place of Samuel Ingram deceased, Samuel Wathen jun in the place of Arnold Nesbitt Esquire deceased, Thomas Wathen in the place of Thomas Palling deceased, Nathaniel Simpson in the place of William Parry Esquire deceased, Miles Mitchell in the place of William Sharmer deceased, Daniel Chance the younger in the place of the Revd. Robert Stephens deceased, William Harris in the place of John White D.D. deceased, William Chance in the place of Samuel Worthington M.D. deceased, Joseph White in the place of Lewis Price jun deceased to be commissioners for putting in execution the powers and authorities of the said Act in witness hereof we have hereuntu sett our hand & seals this 6th day of November in the year of our Lord 1777.
