Lock at Westfield to be measured to ascertain whether the walls are coming in.
At a Meeting of the Committee held by Adjournment at the George Inn in Stroud on Thursday the 1^st of August 1782
Present: Joseph Wathen, Thomas Hayes, John Hollings, John Allaway, Fream Arundell, Ben^m Grazebrook, Nathaniel Jones.
Read the Minutes of the last Meeting.
The Piling at Ebley is now going on agreeable to the order of last Meeting.
M^r King being Indisposed nothing has been done relative to Settling his Account.
Our Clerk Reported that he hath wrote to M^r Cambridge respecting the Mud from the Rien Ditches, but no answer Yet Received.
M^r Franklin hath begun the Repairs of the Brick & Stone work. Ordered that he continues the same till Compleated.
Ordered that the Post & Railing lately put up at Dudbridge by Edward Keene be measured and the same Reported at the next Meeting.
Ordered that the Lock at Westfield be measured in order to ascertain wether the Walls com in.
Ordered that Rich^d Evans & Tho^s Lewis have Notice given them that their wages will be reduced to Nine Shillings per Week at Michaelmas next.
Adjourned this Meeting to Thursday the 19^th Instant at five o' un the afternoon at the George Inn in Stroud.
