Thomas Crozier Arundell, son, claimed shares nos.47,48,49, will of Mr Fred Arundell.
Mr Samuel Smith to level mountain in meadow rented by James Croome and to remove surplus spoil from wharf at Wallbridge.

At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the George Inn at Stroud on Tuesday the 8^th of November 1785
Present: Joseph Wathen, Thomas Baylis, John Hollings, Ben^n Grazebrook, Nathaniel Winchcombe, Nathaniel Jones.
Read the Minutes of the last Committee Meeting.
M^r B Grazebrook Reported that he could not purchase a Boat at Bristol proper for the purpose of breaking the Ice on the Canal. Ordered that he be desired to purchase a new Boat 25 feet long of sufficient Strength for the use intended & that the same be doubly cased with Timber in her Bow,
M^r Gardner attended on behalf of M^r Knight and deliv'd a proposal in writing concerning the matter in dispute with him. Ordered that our Clerk do wait on M^r Lane with the said Proposal and receive instruction from him before we can give an answer thereto.
John Cox of Hyde Servant to M^ Beal attended on behalf of his M^rs Hannah Beal Sister of the late M^r Samuel Whitmore deceased and made out her claim to four shares No 150,159, 162 & 163 in the Stoudwater Navigation late the Property of the said Samuel Whitmore by producing the probate of his Will by which it appears that She is Executrix to whom the said Probate was granted and the said Claim is hereby admitted.
Thomas Crozier Arundell attended and made out his Claim to three shares, No 47, 48 & 49 in the Stroudwater Navigation late the property of his Father M^r Fream Arundell deceased, by producing the Will of his said Father proved in the Court of Canterbury, wherein it appears that the said Thomas Crozier Arundell is the sole Executor and residuary Legatee, and as such is entitled to the same, and the said Claim is hereby admitted.
Ordered that our Clerk do apply to M^r Samuel Smith to levell the Mountain in the meadow Rented by James Croome and also to remove the Surplus spoil from the Warf at Walbridge.
Adjourned this Meeting to Thursday the 15^th of December next at Twelve O'Clock at the George Inn in Stroud.
