Clerk Joseph Grazebrook settled with Mr Webb for a road to land contracted and paid for.
No answer from Mr Keck.
Clerk to examine lock house built by John Davis and pay balance to him if completed agreeable to his contract.
At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held by adjournment at the George Inn in Stroud on Monday the 9^th of April 1787
Present: Nathaniel Winchcombe, John Colborne, John Hollings, Ben^n Grazebrook, Thomas Crozier Arundell.
Read the Minutes of the last Meeting.
Our Clerk Joseph Grazebrook having settled with M^r Webb for a Road to the Land Contracted for at the last Meeting & he having paid the full consideration for the same into the Treasurers hands, Ordered that the said Land by Surrendered to the said Joseph Grazebrook in such manner as is necessary according to the Custom of the Manor of Painswick.
No answer Received from M^r Keck in replay to the Letter wrote to him at the last Meeting.
Our Clerk Reported that he has settled M^r Frankilins Account agreeable to the order of last Meeting.
Ordered that our Clerk do examine the Lock house built by M^r Davis & if the same is compleated agreeable to his Contract that the Ballance due be paid him.
Adjourned this Meeting to Tuesday the 10^th of April Instant at Eleven O'Clock in the forenoon at the George Inn in Stroud.
